Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-10-05
This text is a draft and has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer.
These terms apply when you use WayHand, a service that connects people who need an errand done abroad with people who can do it. By signing in with your wallet you agree to them.
1. What WayHand is
WayHand is a board where a client posts an errand (buying, a local check, shipping), a provider offers to do it, and the client chooses one. WayHand is not the buyer, the seller, a carrier or an employer of providers. Providers act on their own.
2. Who can use it
You must be 18 or older and able to make a contract where you live. You need your own crypto wallet. You are responsible for your wallet and its recovery phrase. Nobody from WayHand will ask for it.
3. Payment and escrow
Payments are made in USDC through the OPUS escrow smart contract on Polygon. WayHand does not hold your money. Funds are locked in the contract when the client funds the errand and move only by its rules: to the provider after the client approves or the time to check passes, or back to the client if no proof is submitted in time. Each errand is limited to the amounts shown on the post screen.
Blockchain transactions cannot be undone. Check the amount, the addresses and the network before you sign. Network fees are paid by you in POL. Any fee WayHand charges will be shown before you confirm.
While the service is marked as a trial or runs on a test network, no real money moves and test tokens have no value.
Payments created outside WayHand, by calling the contract or the SDK directly, are not shown or supported by WayHand. A payment is recognised only when it is made through the payment screen, or matches the errand's terms exactly. Any other payment follows the contract's rules alone, and WayHand cannot recover it and is not responsible for it.
4. What you may post and do
Do not post or accept errands that are illegal where they happen or where the item goes, that involve weapons, drugs, counterfeit goods, adult content, stolen goods, forged papers, or that harm someone. Buying on someone's behalf is closed for now.
Keep all talk on WayHand. Do not give phone numbers, messenger names, e-mail addresses or payment details to move a deal elsewhere. Such text is blocked, and trying to get around it can lead to suspension.
Be honest in your post, your application and your proof. Photos and text you submit must be yours to share.
5. Checks, translation and moderation
Posts and messages may be checked by software, including an AI model, for banned content, and translated into other languages. A post can be held for a person to review, rejected, or removed. Translations are machine-made and may be imperfect; the original text is what you wrote.
6. Delivery, checking and disputes
The provider submits proof of the work. The client checks it within the time shown on the errand and approves, asks for more time where allowed, or does nothing, in which case the escrow's rules decide as shown before funding. There is no arbiter yet, so a disagreement cannot be settled by WayHand; agree a cancellation with the other side or contact us and we will try to help, without any promise of an outcome.
7. Risks
The smart contracts may contain bugs and may not have been independently audited. Token prices, networks and wallets can fail. Customs, delivery and local rules differ by country and are your responsibility. Use amounts you can afford to lose.
8. Suspension
We may hide content or suspend a wallet that breaks these terms or puts others at risk. Funds already locked in the escrow still follow the contract's rules.
9. Liability
The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, WayHand is not liable for the acts of clients and providers, for losses from blockchain or wallet failures, or for indirect losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Changes and contact
We may change these terms and will show the new date. Using the service after a change means you accept it. The law of the Republic of Korea applies unless your local consumer law says otherwise. Questions: see the contact at the bottom of this page.
Contact
A contact address will be published before the service opens to the public.
