FAQ

What is WayHand?

A board where you can ask someone abroad to buy, check or ship something for you, or do such errands for others. Payment is held in an escrow until the errand is done.

Do I need cryptocurrency?

You need a wallet and a little USDC (a digital dollar) for the errand amount, plus a tiny amount of POL for network fees. The guide shows how to set up.

Is my money safe?

WayHand never holds it. After you pay, the money is locked in the OPUS escrow contract and moves only by its rules. The contract has not been independently audited yet, so start with small amounts.

Is money really moving right now?

While the service says it is a trial or runs on a test network, no real money moves and test tokens have no value.

What if the provider does not deliver?

If no proof is submitted by the deadline, the client can take the money back from the escrow.

What if the client never approves?

The client has the time to check shown on the errand. When it ends without an answer, the escrow's rules let the provider claim the payment, as shown before paying.

How much can an errand be?

From 1 to 100 USD (in USDC) per errand for now. Include the item price and shipping.

Why can't I ask someone to buy something for me?

Buying on someone's behalf needs a neutral arbiter for disputes, which does not exist yet. Local checks and shipping are open.

Which countries are open?

Japan and Korea for now. More will open later.

Who sees my shipping address?

Only the provider you chose, after you approve, and only for that errand. It is stored encrypted, and never translated or sent to the AI check.

Can I write in my own language?

Yes. Posts and messages are translated for the other side. Translations are machine-made, so the original is what counts.

Why was my post held or rejected?

Posts are checked for banned content such as illegal items or contact details for moving a deal elsewhere. A held post is reviewed by a person. Change the text and post again if it was rejected.

The wallet says wrong network or a step fails.

Press “Switch network” in the wallet menu and make sure you have a little POL for fees. The guide has the network values.

How do I contact you?

The contact address is at the bottom of the terms and privacy pages.

What if a payment stops halfway?

Paying takes four wallet steps. If one is cancelled or fails, the finished steps stay on the network. Open the payment screen again and press “Continue payment”; nothing is repeated.

Can I create a payment directly on the contract?

You can call the public contract yourself, but WayHand does not support it. WayHand recognises a payment only when it is made through the payment screen or matches the errand's terms exactly. Any other payment follows the contract's rules alone and WayHand cannot recover it.
