Privacy Notice
Last updated: 2026-10-07
This text is a draft and has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer.
This notice explains what WayHand collects, why, and what you can ask us to do.
1. What we collect
Your wallet address when you sign in. Errands you post, applications, questions and answers, proof you submit (text and photos), your provider profile (areas, categories, languages) and your notification settings. Shipping addresses you enter for errands that need one. Basic technical data in server logs, such as time and request type.
We do not collect your name, e-mail or phone unless you choose to add one for notifications.
If you use the OPUS wallet app with notifications turned on, the app registers your wallet address, a device notification token and your language with the OPUS message relayer. WayHand does not store the token. It only asks the relayer which language you registered, so it can write in that language.
2. Why we use it
To run the service: show errands, match clients and providers, check content, translate, send notifications, prevent abuse and keep records of what happened on an errand.
3. Shipping addresses
An address is kept encrypted. It is never translated and never sent to the AI check. It is shown only to the provider you chose, after you approve, and only for that errand.
4. Who else sees data
Errand text and messages are sent to an AI service (Anthropic) for the content check and translation. Other users see what you post and your provider profile. Blockchain transactions, including your wallet address and amounts, are public and permanent on Polygon. We do not sell personal data.
Phone notifications travel from WayHand through the OPUS message relayer and then through Expo and Apple or Google. We keep them short and general: they never carry an errand title, an address or an amount.
5. Browser storage
We store your language choice and your sign-in token in your browser (local storage). We do not use advertising cookies. We count how often each screen is opened, by screen and language only, with no cookie, address or wallet, so a count cannot be tied to a person.
6. How long we keep it
Errand records are kept while the service runs and as long as needed to handle disputes and to meet legal duties. Data on the blockchain cannot be deleted by anyone.
The OPUS message relayer deletes a registered phone after 365 days without activity (no registration, check or notification). Opening the wallet app registers it again. Deleting the wallet in the app, or turning notifications off, removes the phone at once.
7. Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, and to stop notifications, by contacting us. We may keep what we must keep by law or for an open dispute. If you are in the EU, UK, Korea, Japan or another place with privacy law, you also have the rights that law gives you, including to complain to the authority.
You can stop phone notifications from WayHand in the wallet app (turn the service off) or in your phone's settings.
8. Security and age
We protect data with access limits and encryption where noted, but no system is perfectly safe. The service is not for people under 18.
9. Changes and contact
We will show the new date when this notice changes. Questions: see the contact at the bottom of this page.
